Gartner ready to defend state title
The MCD Contracting Esperance Speedway will this Saturday night host the South Coast Food Service WA Super Sedan Title supported by the Shire of Esperance, with anticipation building for a great night of racing, with South Australian Dave Gartner wandering across the Nullabor to defend his Title.
Gartner drove a great race at Mt Barker last year to claim his first West Australian Title, taking the crown from three times West Australian Champion, Kodee Brown.
Brown can’t wait to take on his South Australian counterpart, after some epic battles during the NSSS period.
A field of 21 will start the title at the Esperance Speedway, with the field also including Broome’s Phil Barton and Warren Minshull, who have both been very quick this season.
Veteran Bert Vosbergen, Tristan and Terry Green, Kevin Bell and Chris Pavlovich are also amongst the starters.
Racing on Saturday night will start at 6.00pm WST.
