Parsons claims victory in AMCA Flyin 40 & Tri-Series
Murray Parsons Junior claimed victory in the AMCA Flyin 40 final on the last Friday of 2016. The McD Contracting AMCA driver finished 2016 with a bang taking out his maiden AMCA Flyin 40 event.
Parsons finished ahead of a large impressive field of 13 drivers as local Greg Horan and current AMCA State title holder, David Boyes finished in 2nd and 3rd respectively. 13 drivers began the night but only 10 finished the final as Govans, Hawke & Wright could not cross the finish line.
In a unique case of events, the Humphrys brothers both finished on equal points for the Street Stocks. They were respectively tied for 1st place for the night while Brenton Bridges finished in 3rd.
In the Productions - Paul Eather claimed his first meeting win of the season as Jacky Maroney finished 2nd and Josh Steward finished third.
Cameron Brown extended his lead in season points for the Juniors as he claimed first place once again. Kaden Brown & Daniel Erceg both also had good nights filling the 2nd and 3rd places.
We had a different winner yet again in the Burnouts division as this time it was Jesse Liddell finishing above Rohan Ditchburn and Zak Swann on points for the night. If you are interested in joining the Esperance Speedway burnout division, email firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.
