Are you ready race fans?
This weekend is set to be another big one at the McD Contracting Esperance Speedway as we head into another double header with two nights of exciting racing.
Last meeting saw the running of the 20/20 Street Stocks. In the heats we saw some very good racing, the final saw the first lot of drivers take to the track. Once the first stint was done the drivers did there changes and swapped drivers to head off for the second 20 laps. Once again the Street Stock boys put on a great show. Congratulations to the place getters and a huge thank you to the sponsors of the meeting (South East Petroleum and co-sponsor Esperance Freight Lines.)
Saturday night’s event the Esperance Kalgoorlie Challenge proudly sponsored by Tamara Virgo and the team at TV Financial Services along with John Forrest from J W Forrest Transport. Watch each driver do their best to gain points for round 1 of the Esperance Kalgoorlie challenge. Round 2 will be held in Kalgoorlie on the 13th of February and which ever club comes out on top with points will have the perpetual trophy to hang in their clubrooms and bragging rights – which of course will be Esperance !
Sunday Night hold onto to your hats ladies and gentlemen the McD Contracting Esperance Speedway we are about to bring you a night of mud churning, fuel burning speedway action with one of the biggest fields of Late Models hitting our track. Thank you to Neville and the team at Star Transport for being the major sponsor to this event, it is great to have the local support for us to bring these shows to you. So brace yourself as these high powered machines put on quite a show. These boys in the last two weeks have contested a National Title in Perth and a State title in Albany which I believe there has been some very exiting racing.
Thank you to all of our sponsors and also to all of the community who come out and support our club.
Best of luck to all the drivers over these next two race meetings. Let’s hit the track!
